Helpful for cough and lung renewal, marshmallow is a great multi-purpose herb. But sadly, it does not taste like a s'mores marshmallow.

Mucilage is soothing to mucous membranes in the throat, stomach, intestines, and urinary tract. Pectin is a soluble fiber that keeps things running smoothing in the digestive tract, and also supports healthy blood sugar levels. Together these substances make marshmallow a useful soothing herb.
